A penthouse flat located in Kentish Town. Two pavilions are positioned on the roof, one to accommodate living spaces, the other rest/relaxation spaces including bedrooms.
The south facing living spaces enjoy solar gain and expansive views over the city/Heathrow flight path. The bedrooms are to the north where brick terraces offer a more enclosed/subdued environment. This is not a decorated box, just a place in the city to rest under the sky with everyone else. A house with its shoes off.
The scheme is designed around a cross ventilation strategy and roof lights to all spaces allowing views to the sky.
